<image:caption>Chris Stanton Singer/songwriter, SF Bay Area A year ago I was longing for a way to rekindle my creative fire and find my way back to songwriting and making music. The spirits conspired to nudge me into a “songwriter’s journey” with The Brothers Koren (www.brotherskoren.com) where they dared me “to suck” and stop listening to those nagging voices that strip away our personal power with their constant drone of “you’re not good enough” and “who do you think you’re fooling”. The path took courage and persistence but I found my writing and singing voice again, and the tunes and melodies emerged in a surprising and new way. Now, despite the ever returning voices, I’m excited and ready to share the fruit of my labors. May my little hero’s journey speak to those long-submerged embers smoldering in your heart. Musical Influences: Early English blues bands, Beatles, Stones, Grateful Dead, Kinks, Loudon Wainwright III, Richard Thompson, Steve Earle, James McMurtry, Wilco Previous bands: The Reformed Old Dogs, The Wild Hairs Other Influences: Nature/Spirit/Heart, Martin’ Prechtel, Institute of Heartmath (Doc Childre), ecstatic poets, Gracie & Lulu</image:caption>

<image:caption>Back in the nineties Bill Polits and I founded The Wild Hairs and developed a small but highly enthusiastic fan base who danced wildly to our “ecstatic world rock”. In 1998, after several years of recording in “The Shed” in El Cerrito, CA we released this album “Anything Can Happen And It Always Does” on CD. It contains 11 original songs penned by Bill and me. Bill Polits - lead and backing vocals, lead guitars Chris Stanton - lead and backing vocals , rhythm guitar Marc Campanelli - backing vocals, bass guitar Scott Griener - drums With ample help from Curtis Settino and Mike Pressure and contributions from Mike Coffey, Jonevan Goertzen and Phillip Scott</image:caption>
